Terms of Service

The practical terms for using QAForgeHub: accounts and organizations, acceptable use, your content, plans and billing, and our responsibilities.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of QAForgeHub, available at qaforgehub.com (the "Service"), which is operated by DleetSoft ("we", "us"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation to an organization, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions.

2. The Service

QAForgeHub is a web-based workspace for issue tracking and QA collaboration. It includes organizations and projects; issues, comments and labels; backlogs and boards; sprints, milestones and roadmaps; Planning Poker estimation sessions; project reports; and optional connections from the QAForge desktop application ("connected devices") that submit test results to your projects.

Depending on how registration is configured at the time, creating an account may require an invitation. The Service is new and continues to change: features, plans and limits may be added, changed or removed, and some functionality may be offered as a beta or preview. Beta and preview functionality is provided on an especially "as is" basis.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live to use the Service. You agree to give accurate account information, to keep it current, and to verify your email address — the Service requires a verified email address before you can use your workspace.

Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for everything that happens under it, including actions taken by anyone you allow to use it.

4. Account security

Keep your password and any recovery codes confidential and do not share your account, session or API credentials. Choose a strong, unique password. You can turn on two-factor authentication from Account settings, and an organization can require it for its owners and administrators.

If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, change your password, review your active sessions in Account settings, and tell us promptly at support@qaforgehub.com. See the Security page for how we protect accounts and how to report a vulnerability.

5. Organizations, roles and authorized users

Work in QAForgeHub happens inside organizations. Each member of an organization has a role (Owner, Administrator, Project Manager, Developer, Tester or Viewer) that determines what they can see and do. Owners and Administrators decide who is invited, what role each person holds, and manage the organization's settings and billing.

If you invite people or manage an organization, you are responsible for making sure they are entitled to be there and for the access you give them. If you join an organization, you understand that its Owners and Administrators control that workspace, that other members can see your name, email address and role, and that content you add is visible to other members according to their roles and permissions.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Service;
  • store or share content you do not have the right to store or share, or content that is malicious, such as malware;
  • try to bypass, probe or test the Service's access controls or security without our written permission, or access another organization's data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service or other customers' use of it, including by overloading it or accessing it by automated means other than the integrations we provide;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • put sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, government identifiers or health information, into issues, comments or other content. QAForgeHub is not designed or certified for that kind of data.

7. Your content

You and your organization keep ownership of the issues, comments, labels, sprint and planning data, estimates, reports and other content you submit ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of it.

You give us a limited license to host, store, process, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to run, secure and support the Service for you and your organization, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use Your Content for advertising.

8. Your responsibility for project content

You are responsible for Your Content: that it is lawful, that you have the rights needed to submit it, and that it does not include personal information or confidential material you are not permitted to share. This includes what connected devices and integrations send on your behalf, such as test names, error messages, page addresses and environment details from test runs — do not let credentials or secrets end up in them.

Keep your own copies of anything important. We do not guarantee that Your Content will be retained, or that it can be recovered if it is lost, deleted or corrupted.

9. Our software and service

The Service, including its software, design, text, branding and documentation, belongs to DleetSoft and its licensors. While you comply with these Terms, you may use the Service for its intended purpose; this is a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Service except as the law allows despite this restriction.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Plans: Free and Pro

QAForgeHub offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Plans apply to an organization, not to an individual member.

  • Free — no payment method required. Each organization on the Free plan is limited to 3 active projects and 5 members.
  • Pro — unlimited projects and members. Pro is priced and billed per organization, not per seat, as a monthly or annual subscription. The current price is shown on the organization's Billing page before you subscribe.

Your first organization is on the Free plan. An additional organization you own needs its own Pro subscription and cannot be used — it stays in a setup state, with no projects, members or workspace features — until that subscription is active.

We may change plan features, limits or prices going forward. A change does not affect payments you have already made.

11. Billing and payment processor

Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. By subscribing, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis, monthly or annually to match the interval you chose, until the subscription is cancelled. Lemon Squeezy may collect applicable sales tax, VAT or similar charges based on your billing location, and your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy's own terms.

We do not store your payment card details; Lemon Squeezy collects and holds them. Only an organization's Owner or Administrator can subscribe to Pro or manage an existing subscription. Managing a subscription — updating payment details, switching between monthly and annual billing, or cancelling — happens in Lemon Squeezy's hosted billing portal, linked from the organization's Billing page.

If a payment fails, the subscription may become past due or expire, and the organization may then return to Free plan limits.

12. Renewal and cancellation

Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. An organization Owner or Administrator may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation applies to the whole organization's plan, not an individual member, and stops future automatic renewal.

Cancelling does not end Pro access immediately: the organization keeps Pro through the end of the billing period it has already paid for, then returns to the Free plan unless another subscription is established. If the organization is then over the Free plan's project or member limits, nothing existing is removed, archived or deleted — you simply cannot create additional projects or add additional members until you resubscribe or bring usage back under the Free limits.

13. Refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for the unused part of a billing period after cancellation. Duplicate charges, billing errors or other exceptional circumstances may be reviewed case by case — see the Refund Policy for the full rule and how to raise one. Cancelling a subscription is separate from a refund.

14. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation and we do not currently offer a service-level agreement. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

15. Third-party services and integrations

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Lemon Squeezy for payments, a hosting provider, and an email delivery provider — see the Privacy Policy for how they handle information. Desktop applications and other software you connect to the Service may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, and links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, including by deleting your account (see "Data and account deletion" below).

We may suspend or end your access, or an organization's access, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, if needed to protect the Service, its users or security, if a payment is not made, or if the law requires. When access ends, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should continue — such as those on ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability — continue to apply.

17. Data and account deletion

From Account settings you can export a copy of your own data and delete your account. Deleting requires your password (and a two-factor code if enabled), and you must first transfer ownership of, or otherwise resolve, any organization where you are the only Owner. Deleting your account removes your login credentials and removes your name and email address from your account record. Content you created that is shared with teammates, such as issues and comments, stays in the organization so its history remains intact, but is no longer tied to your identity.

The Privacy Policy describes what we keep and for how long. We do not promise a fixed deletion timetable, and information may remain for a time in backups or where we are required or permitted to keep it.

18. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, that any data will be retained or recoverable, or that backups will be available for any particular customer content. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for your own decisions, releases and testing outcomes.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DleetSoft will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If you keep using the Service after an update takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the Service.

21. Company information and governing law

QAForgeHub is operated by DleetSoft. A specific registered legal entity structure (for example, an LLC or corporation) for DleetSoft has not been confirmed and is not asserted here. We have not published a business mailing address for these Terms.

These Terms do not currently designate a governing law or venue for disputes. We will update this section if that changes.

22. Contact

For questions about these Terms, or for account, organization or billing help your organization's Owner or Administrator cannot resolve, email support@qaforgehub.com or see Contact / Support in the Help Center.
